Poor management of infectious materials in transportation can lead to disaster. The potential hazards posed by the transportation of infectious or potentially infectious materials are controlled through regulations that impose classification, packaging, marking, labeling, documentation and other requirements on shippers and carriers. This training covers the regulations in detail.

Why exactly are stop signs and signals annoying? Well, it’s probably because they slow you down. But hold on another second. Maybe they really don’t. Say you just flat-out run the first red light on your next delivery. Wouldn’t that throw off your timing for catching the next green light? Okay, so you run the next light too. And then the next. And the next. All four of those serious driving offenses saved you what? Five minutes? There comes a time when you have to ask yourself, “Just how does my five minutes equal the lifetime of someone I kill by running a stop light?”

The time you save by rolling past a stop sign or blazing past a yellow or red light will never justify the potential harm you might do to yourself and to other motorists. That’s the central message of this course.

Topics in this course include: Facts and Violations and Railroad Crossings. After completing this course, you will be able to recognize how to properly stop at intersections and railroad crossings.
